I have 14 years of experience, and specialize in the field of toxicology with specific knowledge in the areas of neurotoxicology, heavy metals and environmental exposures. I have published on such topics as neurodegeneration, Parkinson’s disease and neurotoxic brain injury. My experience as an academic researcher in the field of toxicology has enabled me to understand how many environmentally relevant compounds can have adverse effects in people. In recognition for my research efforts, I was selected to serve as a regular member of a grant review panel in neurotoxicology from 2007 – 2011.
