I have published on such topics as HIV biology, viral microRNAs and viral pathogensis. I have testified on lentiviral vectors. I have been a professor at an university medical center since 1987. I have published over 240 manuscripts. I am on several editorial boards and have worked as a consultant with several companies. I also hold a number of patents.
