His work and research combines the disciplines of biochemistry, molecular biology, nutrition, and medicine. He has expertise and is able to serve as an expert witness in the following: trace mineral metabolism, vessel wall or vascular tissue disease, vitamin metabolism, quinone cofactors, growth and connective tissue metabolism, developmental nutrition, and use of animal models to study disease and nutritional relationships.
