I have 30 years of experience, and specialize in the field of information technology with specific knowledge in the areas of wireless grids, regulation and innovation. I have published on such topics as Internet economics, Internet telephony and Internet governance. I have testified on universal service, cost models and education. Having participated in the standardization of HDTV and Digital in the 1980s and 1990s, the commercialization of the Internet in the 1990s – bringing streaming media to CNN for example- and more recently as a professor, innovator and entrepreneur, as well as advisor to government agencies and global public policy processes such as the United Nations Internet Governance Forum and as member of the Civil Society Information Society Advisory Committee of the Information, Computer, and Communication Policy committee of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development, I have a rare breadth of experience which I can bring to any engagement.
