I have 30 years of experience in the field of wetland ecosystem ecology with specific knowledge in the areas of classification, functional assessment, and rising sea level. I have published on such topics as reference based functional assessments, sea level rise effects on coastal wetlands, and restoration of headwaters streams and riparian ecosystems. I am probably best know for leading the development of the hydrogeomorphic approach for classifying and assessing wetland ecosystems.
