I have 25 years of experience, and specialize in the field of experimental psychology with specific knowledge in the areas of visual perception, cognition and functional brain imaging. I have published on such topics as visual perception, visual impairment and visual neuroscience. I direct a well-funded research lab at the university level. I have an international reputation in the area of vision research. I am on the editorial board of the Journal of Vision. I serve on various research funding panels at the national level both in the U.S. and oversea.
