I have 35 years of experience, and specialize in the field of autoimmune disease therapy with specific knowledge in the areas of multiple sclerosis (MS), experimental encephalomyelitis and other autoimmune diseases. I have published on such topics as induction of regulatory T cells in multiple sclerosis, development of a T cell receptor peptide vaccine and development of recombinant TCR ligands. I am a nationally funded research scientist working to develop new therapies for autoimmune diseases, particularly multiple sclerosis. I design and carry out immunological experiments in man and mice, and publish results of these studies in national and international journals. I have established a working group of 12 scientists and technicians and participate in the design and completion of immunological assessments of blood samples from MS patients enrolled in various clinical trials.
