I have 30 years of experience in the field of sport psychology, with specific knowledge of elite performance, group processes and overtraining, and conflict resolution. I have published on such topics as identifying discriminating characteristics of Olympic athletes, psychological preparation for elite performance, and overtraining and burn out in high level performers. I have served as a sport psychology consultant for athletes and teams for over 30 years, and provided consultation and on-site services to professional athletes and athlete’s competing in national, international and world competitions. My specializations include the psychology of the elite athlete, preparation for competition, performance enhancement, overtraining, team building, leadership and violence in sport. I have spoken at and conducted workshops regionally, nationally and internationally on various sport psychology topics.
