I have 35 years of experience, and specialize in the field of costruction, enginnering and inspections with specific knowledge in the areas of electrical standards, resdiential international codes and americans with disabilities act. I have published on such topics as electrical safety, radon safety and testing and ethics for home inspectors. I have testified on residential construction anomalies, the need for standards to protect homeowners during the process of home inspections and specific standards of practice and a code of ethics for home inspection legislation. Since 2005 I have been involved with the West Virginia State Fire Marshal and State Fire Commission as an expert witness with regard to the establishment, enforcement and perpetuation of home inspection law and the educational approval process.
