I have 15 years of experience, and specialize in the field of medical imaging with specific knowledge in the areas of breast tomosynthesis, digital mammography and computer aided diagnosis. I have published on such topics as breast tomosynthesis imaging, computer aided detection of breast cancer and evaluation of digital mammography systems. I am an Assistant Professor of Radiology, Biomedical Engineering, and Medical Physics. My research interests include many topics in the advanced imaging and management of cancer. Since 2003, I have been principal investigator in the areas of digital mammography and breast tomosynthesis. I am also very familiar with the digital mammography and breast tomosynthesis efforts of other companies including GE and Hologic. I have given many invited talks on the subject of breast tomosynthesis, including recently at the fall 2008 meeting of the ACRIN.
