I have 30 years of experience, and specialize in the field of construction and real estate inspections with specific knowledge in the areas of general contracting, property inspections and construction management. I have published on such topics as real estate inspections, property maintenance and moisture infilitration consequences. I have testified 6 times on topics such as construction techniques, inspection requirements in California and consequences of improper building maintenance. I have been in and around the construction field for over 40 years. I have done everything from being a framing contractor, built houses from the ground up, worked on major commercial projects such as hotels and electrical power stations and done over 400 major construction projects over the years. I have run construction crews and supervised numerous crews at the same time. I have trained over 20 property inspectors along with been a senior technical advisor to the largest real estate inspection company in the United States. I have been writing articles regarding the construction field for over 5 years from topics such as, plumbing, electrical, heating and air conditioning, structural aspects and overall site issues in regards to real estate.
