I have 17 years of experience, and specialize in the field of neurodevelopment pediatrics with specific knowledge in the areas of neurologic injury, developmental disorders (acquired and congenital) and childhood disability. I have published on such topics as autism, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and developmental disabilities. I have testified 25 times on topics such as cerebral palsy, developmental disabilities and spinal injury.I have considerable practice experience in the areas of pediatric physical medicine and rehabilitation and in the areas of neurodevelopment disabilities. I have worked at private for-profit rehabilitation hospitals, university medical centers, and currently at the nation’s largest hospital system dedicated to the care of children with special needs. I am not only the medical director of the inpatient long term care facility, but I am also a published author or original and sponsored research in the area of neurodevelopment pediatrics. I have experience reviewing and preparing life care plans, and have been involved in providing medical-legal opinion since 1993.
