I have 15 years of experience, and specialize in the field of emergency medical care and firefighting with specific knowledge in the areas of eemergency medical care, training and safety, fireground operations and mass casualty incidents.. I have published on such topics as medical care and treatment, mass casualty incidents and fire. I have testified on union relations and human relations. As a senior chief officer, I am one of the few in the country that are credentialed as both a Chief Fire Officer and Chief Medical Officer. In addition I have completed the National Fire Academy’s 4 year Executive Fire Officer program, and was selected worldwide to receive the Harvard University Fellowship. In addition, I have spoken at numerous conferences including 3 international conferences.
