I have 35 years of experience, and specialize in the field of orthopedic surgery with specific knowledge in the areas of general orthopedics, fracture care and spine care and surgery. I have published on such topics as fracture healing and evidence based spine care. I have testified 30 times on topics such as orthopedic injury, 3rd party liability / injuries and medical malpractice. Between HMO and private practice careers, I obtained a law degree to better understand the law of legal-medicine. I must emphasize, however, I am NOT a practicing attorney. My legal-medicine expert practice is about 10% of my professional life. Clinical orthopedic surgery comprises the remaining 90% and I intend it to remain so.
