I have 5 years of experience, and specialize in the field of residential real estate with specific knowledge in the areas of short sales, pre-foreclosure sales and negotiating with mortgage lenders. I became a Realtor 5 years ago after having worked for over 25 years as an administrative assistant in law firms and corporate legal departments. Most of the attorneys I worked for were complex business litigation attorneys and real estate attorneys. I had a great skill set for residential real estate when I decided to make the move. When I started I had no idea that I would be come my broker’s residential short sale specialist and expert and teacher. Short sales and pre-foreclosure sales were only beginning to become a known alternative to foreclosure. I made it my business to build my business from the published foreclosure sale lists each month. I now receive referrals from other brokerages, brokers in other states, previous clients, title companies, and my sphere of influence and almost 100% of my business is in short sales. In the first half of this year, my volume sales number was around $4M and I expect to finish out the year around $8M. Every year, my business grown since 2006. My timing turned out to be excellent and my skills to be spot on. While other agents sit idle in my office, I am the busiest person around.
