I have 30 years of experience, and specialize in the field of homeland security, emergency planning, safety and threat with specific knowledge in the areas of food threat risk, vulnerability assessments and emergency planning. I have published on such topics as emergency planning, emergency operations centers and food safety. I have testified 15 times on topics such as occupational safety, training and emergency operations. I was deployed to the World Trade Center Attacks in 2001 by the United States Department of Justice to the New York City Fire Department for 100 days as a scene safety officer, and as liaison to the command staff on safety and security.
