I have 30 years of experience, and specialize in the field of mechanical engineering with specific knowledge in the areas of heating, ventilating, air conditioning, plumbing and fire protection. I have published on such topics as roof drainage system design, smoking in restaurants and domestic water backflow prevention. I have testified 6 times on topics such as bathtub scald injuries, heating, ventilation and air conditioning deficiencies and grease intereceptor. In addition to being an expert witness I run an active engineering and design firm. We design HVAC and plumbing systems for approximately 100 buildings each year. This ongoing design experience keeps me current with the state of the art, current desing practices, and industry standard of care. I was also appointed by former Governor of California, Hon. Grey Davis, to sit as a board member for the State Board for Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors. I particpated in the role for one term.
