I have 36 years of experience, and specialize in the field of forensic accounting with specific knowledge in the areas of insurance-reinsurance, claim evaluation and allocation of damages. I have published on such topics as follow the fortunes – after 9/11, the three “s” in time element claims and insurance claims – the roll of the forensic accountant. I have testified 10 times on topics such as financial motive in arson claims, damage value of personal property, business interruption and extra expense and damages from fraud, embezzlement and theft. I have been engaged by clients to evaluate between 300 and 400 claims, which include both property (time element) and casualty (toxic tort) claims often including litigation or arbitration.
