I have 24 years of experience, and specialize in the field of emergency nursing with specific knowledge in the areas of emergency/trauma patient care, EMTALA regulations and joint commission standards. I have published on such topics as Identifying victims of domestic violence, trauma research in review and disaster and emergency planning. I have testified on emergency nursing care, patient safety and invasive procedures. I assisted with the development of a “Code STEMI” program decreasing door to reperfusion time from 120 min to 60 min and less for patients with ST elevation myocardial infarctions.
