I have 30 years of experience, and specialize in the field of drug discovery and development with specific knowledge in the areas of ion channel drug discovery and development, ion channel safety concerns and ion channel intellectual property. I have published on such topics as specific ion channel drug discovery efforts, ion channel screening and counter-screening and cardiovascular, diabetes and pain therapeutic areas. I have helped commercialize two ion channel drugs and I still have drug candidates in clinical development. My group helped pioneer modern ion channel drug discovery.
