I have 36 years of experience, and specialize in the field of psychiatry with specific knowledge in the areas of forensic psychiatry, criminal law and civil law. I have published on such topics as concordance between exaggeration of neurocognitive and emotional dysfunction, sexually dangerous predators and post-prison committment laws. As a clinical professor of psychiatry, I love to teach forensic psychiatry because I love what I do. I find the overlap of disciplines fascinating. This year I was an expert psychiatric witness in a mock trial.
