I have 18 years of experience, and specialize in the field of medical coding and billing with specific knowledge in the areas of fee schedules, super bills and PQRI. I have published on such topics as coding for biologicals, communication and PQRI. I have been in healthcare field for over 18 years. I specialize in the creation and maintenance of superbills and fee schedules as well as coding training for providers and staff. I have often been asked to research unique coding situations or offer my opinion on how to handle the coding of a specific case. I have conducted training sessions for physicians, non-physician practitioners, managers, clinic personnel and billing staff on coding and documentation. In addition to my presentations and communication at work, I have been an active member of Toastmasters International for 12 years. A worldwide organization, the mission of Toastmasters is to provide members with the opportunity to develop communication and leadership skills. As a member of Toastmasters, I have given hundreds of speeches and earned the highest level of recognition in the Toastmaster organization ~ the designation of Distinguished Toastmaster (DTM).I have published articles on the journey to earning DTM as well as an article on the success of the local chapter working together with other officers in the area.
