I have 13 years of experience, and specialize in the field of earth science and geology with specific knowledge in the areas of coastal erosion processes on barrier islands, climate change and science education. I have published on such topics as methane emissions from northern wetlands, Anti-Semitism in academic settings and geology maps. I am a diverse geoscientist whose expertise combines the hard sciences of climate change and coastal erosion with the techniques needed to speak to the non-expert/lay public whether K-12 students, college students and the average person. My work focuses on making science of use by the public to meet societal challenges.
