I have 12 years of experience, and specialize in the field of education with specific knowledge in the areas of HIV/AIDS, civil rights, race relations, LGBT rights, and public health and American Indian cultures, religious rights, and the law. I have published on such topics as racial justice, educational equity, public health/HIV/AIDS, discrimination and cultural studies, and LGBT studies and legal rights. I have served as the board president of three national organizations and the board vice-chair for a fourth organization. The range of issues include ethnic, gender, LGBT, immigrant, and educational rights. My work has also led to work with the United Nation’s Global Forum on HIV.
