I have 39 years of experience, and specialize in the field of nursing and health care with specific knowledge in the areas of cancer screening behaviors of immigrants and refugees, cardiovascular disease among international populations and immigrants and refugees, and health literacy of African Americans and Latino immigrants. I have published on such topics as cancer screening behaviors (mammography, pap smear, breast self exam), cardiovascular disease and metabolic syndrome.
