I have 35 years of experience, and specialize in the field of violence prevention with specific knowledge in the areas of bullying and harassment, urban youth violence and hospital-based violence prevention programs. I have published on such topics as bullying, harassment, human rights, youth violence prevention and hospital-based approaches to violence prevention. I have testified on bullying and harassment in schools, served as an expert witness on approximately 7 cases in which I prepared reports based on pre-trial depositions and my expert knowledge of the literature and the policies, laws, and regulations concerning bullying and harassment in schools and in each of the cases a positive negotiated settlement was reached primarily based on my report.I have deep experience in both the academic world and knowledge of the corresponding literature and in working on the grass-roots level.
