I have 20 years of experience, and specialize in the field of rangeland management with specific knowledge in the areas of livestock grazing, beef cattle production practices and rangeland monitoring. I have published on such topics as beef care practices, livestock grazing for biological conservation and working landscapes. I have testified on livestock grazing for invasive species control, livestock management to provide source water protection and grazing for biological conservation. I conduct applied research and outreach on grassland and oak woodland management. I work with cattle ranchers and public agencies to promote working landscapes that conserve biological diversity and protect water quality.
