I have 46 years of experience, and specialize in the field of autism spectrum disorders, child neuropsychology, developmental disabilities and residential treatment for children and adolescents with specific knowledge in the areas of autism, mental retardation and traumatic brain injury. I have published on such topics as language instruction for nonverbal children and adolescents with mental handicaps and/or autism spectrum disorders, techniques for interviewing children and attention deficits and learning disabilities in the workplace. I have testified 8 times on topics such as autism spectrum disorders, traumatic brain injury and child psychological status as it relates to custody. I have given workshops on language instruction for children with mental handicaps and autism spectrum disorders in the U.S. and internationally, and have also given workshops in Oregon on child and adolescent neuropsychology.
