I have 22 years of experience, and specialize in the field of medical and veterinary entomology with specific knowledge in the areas of disease transmission dynamics, human health risk assessment and biological threat agent identification and response operations. I have published on such topics as assessment of biological and chemical hazards associated with natural disasters and incidents, investigation of disease outbreaks in the U.S., as well as Africa, Asia and South America and strategies, technologies and capabilities to identify and respond to biological terror agents. I have consulted as an expert witness regarding filth fly populations in residential areas, and regarding mechanisms of disease control, but none of the cases ever went to court.
