I have 40 years of experience, and specialize in the field of developmental and reproductive toxicology and environmental toxicology with specific knowledge in the areas of birth defects causation, toxic effects of environmental and workplace chemicals and nonclinical toxicology. I have published on such topics as developmental toxicity of arsenic, mycotoxins, and numerous other substances, principles of teratology and expert witness. I have testified on arsenic toxicity, developmental toxicity of pharmaceuticals and birth defects causation. I was recognized as a Fellow of the Academy of Toxicological Sciences. The academy certifies toxicologists not only to recognize their professional achievement but also to assure that toxicology professionals, who participate in research and testing, determine safety, risk and risk-benefit and make regulatory decisions that impact public health and the environment, exercise sound scientific judgment, free of bias, based on the scientific data. Fewer than 250 toxicologists worldwide have achieved the honor of being designated as fellows of the academy.
